This was his sixteenth house. Rather, it was the sixteenth house he had looked at in what he felt had been an all too short weekend.

He didn’t know what exactly he wanted. But he was certain of what he didn’t want.

A two bedroom colonial was not his style. Nor was a split level.

Sigh. Bird house hunting is hard, he thought.

Yesterday brought beautiful weather to Fort Collins. I’d go so far to say it was downright spring-like, so the boyfriend and I decided to get out and enjoy some trail jogging. The very tiny hills that we ran wore me out a bit more than I’d like to admit – especially considering the, also, very short distance we ran, but it was fabulous!

The rest of the day was not too shabby either. We checked out a new brewery, enjoyed lunch with a friend and biked our way to a basketball game.

The game was jam-packed and one overly enthusiastic fan got thrown out. I guess the guy was being obnoxious and confrontational – apparently ready to fight. It’s funny to me that fans can get so wrapped up in a game, of which they have absolutely no control over, and that really has no bearing on their life, to the point that they are ready to fight. We are strange creatures, we humans.

Like Twelve Dancing Princesses who sneak out in the night

But now there were only five

Gowns dancing, swishing

Thick blades of grass

Under the moonlight

Voices sing

Until the wee hours of morn
