Day 270: Trails 3 x 5″ ink and watercolor on paper
Goal: To create one piece of art each day for 365 consecutive days
Yesterday brought beautiful weather to Fort Collins. I’d go so far to say it was downright spring-like, so the boyfriend and I decided to get out and enjoy some trail jogging. The very tiny hills that we ran wore me out a bit more than I’d like to admit – especially considering the, also, very short distance we ran, but it was fabulous!
The rest of the day was not too shabby either. We checked out a new brewery, enjoyed lunch with a friend and biked our way to a basketball game.
The game was jam-packed and one overly enthusiastic fan got thrown out. I guess the guy was being obnoxious and confrontational – apparently ready to fight. It’s funny to me that fans can get so wrapped up in a game, of which they have absolutely no control over, and that really has no bearing on their life, to the point that they are ready to fight. We are strange creatures, we humans.

Day 270: Confrontation While Bystanders Observe Curiously 3 x 5″ ink and watercolor on paper
Trails… lovely!
I like this piece with the basketball-headed bystanders!
Nice work
Love the hills, so serene!
Thank you!
Gracias! I enjoy depicting these little objects as people.
Thank you so much for the comment!
Oh good! Serene is a great way to describe the run as well!
