Work in Progress, 32 x 48″, Acrylic on wood

I’ve been commissioned to create a painting that will live in a window-less R&D lab. The parameters are that it needs to be colorful, abstract and affordable as there is not a ton of money left in the “original art budget” for the company. As a more affordable option, I decided to paint on some wood that my studio neighbor offered me, and have determined it was a great choice. I love teh areas where wood grain peeks through.
