18 x 30″ Watercolor and ink on watercolor canvas
This piece is coming along, albeit at a bit slower pace than I typically move. Perhaps this is because my base layer was yellow – a color I normally use sparingly. I’m enjoying changing up my palette a bit though and think the final piece, with its layers of colors, will work out nicely.

I don’t know what image is in your head, but that’s beginning to look like dawn/dusk on a particular road near Chugwater … just sayin’!
I am so curious as to where exactly you’re thinking of! I may just have to take a little road trip down i25 to figure it out.
Across from the rest area to the west. It’s some cliffs or bluffs that I remember with reddish hues.
Oh! I completely know where you are thinking of now. Road trip cancelled. For that purpose anyway:)
I like the colours…the colours are happy but the house in the center is scarry …like there´s a secret inside
