Tonight was another First Friday Gallery Walk here in lovely Fort Collins. In preparation for the event I spent most of the day cleaning up my studio and hanging paintings which, unsurprisingly, turned out to be a big job. My art for today then, was completed as folks wandered through the gallery. I decided I would take another stab at painting tiles. I hadn’t touched them in ages and so it was a fun change of pace. I need a bit more practice and perhaps a larger brush in order to create a less streaky finish, but I am happy with the high contrast, flowing design.

It flows beautifully, and the bright blue is great with the simple black and white.
Beautiful! I like seeing the brush strokes. :)
Love these- and your grasshopper which I somehow missed last December!
Thank you very much!
Thank you. Hmm. Maybe I should experiment with making the brushstrokes more pronounced.
Thanks, Katy!
