Arting for 365 Day 333: Lanterns of Fish

Day 333, Ink and acrylic on May 1955 Field and Stream magazine

Day 333, magazine appropriation: Ink and acrylic on May 1955 Field and Stream Magazine

Goal: To create one piece of art each day for 365 consecutive days

They hung at dusk

Like lanterns in a tree

Scales reflecting soft, sleepy light

Calm is the lake below

Glass-like

An aberrently beautiful landscape

  1. Nice, the fluent lines and vivid colours, interact with the classic look & palette of the old papers. The joy of drawing spats out of these artworks…:)

  2. Thank you! I do enjoy writing stories and poems to go with the images. I *think all of these magazine pieces have one or the other as part of the blog post, although no two pages are related in their stories.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to post them here.
