Goal: To create one piece of art each day for 365 consecutive days
Composed of sticks and twigs and loose paper found blowing down a city street
The quiet nest sits empty
Not entirely purpose-less
Its intricate twines twist with confidence and beauty – an abandoned sculpture with potential beyond its delicate facade
Waiting for life to once again occupy its hearty, rounded floor
For the crane to care
About the potential of its winged kind
To fly another time
Beautiful. Simple and elegant.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
This is wonderful. Graceful. The web of lines is so delicate; the circular shapes above almost evaporating.
Wow, thank you for the thoughtful comment! I was working to make the circular shapes appear as though they were disintegrating, so I’m pleased to see that is how you interpreted it.
My favorite piece. It touched me, and while I try to find the words to describe why, I’m just smiling. Love this!
Oh man! That means so much. Thank you.
Gorgeous.
Thank you! I’m hoping to create more of these soon.
