Goal: To create one piece of art each day for 365 consecutive days

The boyfriend commented that my day 222 drawing reminded him of a fly. After he said that the expression ‘fly by night’ kept running through my head – thus the title.

I love the energy of the lines and the detail in this little guy. I suppose it is a bit of a reflection of how my life is moving things days (buzzing right along, not the fly by night part).

Along with creating the fly yesterday, I also finished setting up my studio and worked on making some coasters for the First Friday art walk tonight (see pics below). I am happy with the place – all of my clutter has found a spot for itself and I’m feeling right at home.
